Hello new friend!
Ten years ago my sweetheart and I got married in a fever. They say "when you know, you know", and I definitely knew he was the one God had for me! We have four beautiful children--Hudson (8), Ford (7), Trent (6), and Claire (10 months).
I got my first camera for my 8th birthday and haven't stopped taking pictures since. Photography transformed from a hobby to a passion in 2018 when I began taking on sessions for friends and family. My sister Emilie and I joined forces to create Sisters Studio Photography, but soon realized that we could better serve our target clients by individualizing our businesses, and in 2020 Elizabeth Godwin Photography was born. She went on to specialize in studio newborn and family milestone photography and I focused almost exclusively on weddings and engagements. Since photographing my first wedding in 2019, I have gone on to capture over 130+ weddings across Georgia and Florida.
I love hot coffee year-round, true crime shows, homeschooling my kiddos, writing novels, and artifact hunting (major history nerd). Forever trying to find the right balance between using juuust enough exclamation marks to show you how excited I am while trying not to come across as totally unhinged. Still working on that one.
