Hello new friend!
Nine years ago my sweetheart and I got married in a fever. They say "when you know, you know", and I definitely knew he was the one God had for me! We have four beautiful children--Hudson (8), Ford (7), Trent (5), and Claire (8 months).
I began taking photography seriously as a way to document my boys' childhood as they grew. In 2018 my sister Emilie and I started Sisters Studio Photography. We started taking on weddings, events, senior portraits, family sessions, births, grad sessions, and everything in between! At the beginning of 2020 we reevaluated where we both were in life. She needed to spend a season dedicating herself to her new career and continuing her education. I wanted to pursue photography full-time. Elizabeth Godwin Photography was born! Since then I've photographed more than 100 weddings across Georgia and Florida.
I love hot coffee year-round, true crime shows, homeschooling my kiddos, writing novels, and drawing. Forever trying to find the right balance between using juuust enough exclamation marks to show you how excited I am while trying not to come across as totally unhinged. Still working on that one.
