Caroline & Chandler’s Romantic Southern Wedding at Pebble Hill Plantation

Some weddings are filled with so much love and intentionality that you can’t help but feel the warmth and joy radiating from every moment. Caroline and Chandler’s wedding at Pebble Hill Plantation in February was exactly that—a day filled with beauty, heartfelt emotion, and the timeless charm of the South.

Caroline and Chandler’s journey began at Georgia College. Although they now live in Atlanta, their hearts were always drawn to Thomasville, where Caroline spent her childhood visiting family. Thomasville was the perfect sentimental backdrop for their wedding day.

What struck me the most wasn’t just the beauty of the venue, but the deep connection between their families. Both sides were full of joy and delight—Chandler’s family adored Caroline, and her family was equally taken with him. It was clear that this wasn’t just the union of two people, but of two families who truly cherished one another.

The weather on their wedding day was everything a couple could hope for in February—warm enough to be comfortable, yet with the fresh crispness that made the day feel like early spring. Pebble Hill Plantation, with its historic charm and blooming grounds, provided the most picturesque setting. Everything seemed to come alive in time for their big day.

Caroline and Chandler exchanged vows beneath the iconic live oak on the front lawn of Pebble Hill, a spot steeped in history and Southern elegance. The grandeur of the tree, with its sprawling branches draped in Spanish moss, was the perfect complement to the intimacy of their ceremony.

Caroline’s attention to detail was simply stunning. From her soft pink floral arrangements to the sand bridesmaids’ dresses, every element was perfectly curated to reflect her romantic, elegant style. She wore a fitted lace gown with detachable sleeves and a cathedral-length veil that added an ethereal touch. It’s not often that I meet someone as naturally beautiful as Caroline, and she truly looked radiant on her wedding day.

Her three sisters were part of the bridal party, adding a meaningful personal touch to the celebration. Chandler, a former college baseball player, was surrounded by his groomsmen—many of whom were his former teammates, creating a close-knit and joyful atmosphere.

One of the most special moments of the day was the couple’s private first look. Away from the hustle and bustle, Caroline and Chandler shared their first look on the beautiful grounds of Pebble Hill. In a quiet, secluded area, they also exchanged private vows, a personal tradition that gave them a moment to truly connect before the ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the sprawling lawn, followed by a lively reception filled with laughter, dancing, and celebration. The reception space was beautifully adorned with soft pink florals and elegant details that complemented the Southern charm of the venue.

Every detail, from the first dance to the toasts, reflected the couple’s love for each other and their families. The warmth of the day extended well into the evening as the couple danced under the Southern sky, surrounded by the people they cherish most.
